Kids Cove

Kids Cove is a learning and child care facility in Auckland with a unique approach to care. At Kids Cove, children are encouraged to explore their own interests and grow their capabilities so their personality can flourish. Children are cared for in a safe, learning-conducive environment managed by highly-qualified and experienced teachers- a place where each child can learn and play while their parents are away.

The challenge

When Jag and Jassu Gill of Kids Cove got in touch with Zeald, their goal was to expand their business. They were starting a new branch in Albany and were motivated to reinvent their website. They also wanted to grow their enrollments for the Newmarket branch, and drive interest and growth for their new Albany centre. The Zeald team were charged to help them achieve their goals.

The solution

The Zeald team learned about Jag and Jassu’s goals for Kids Cove and developed a multi-faceted strategy to drive efforts to expand their business. We created a solution that would: (1) increase awareness for the new Albany Kids Cove branch, (2) increase enrolments to both branches, and (3) position Kids Cove as a reliable childcare institution that busy parents can entrust their child to while they work.

Website re-design

Our digital marketing strategy began with our work on the Kids Cove website redesign. For the new design, we focused on making sure that we retain the warm, friendly, and playful feel of the existing site, but also wanted the new design to look clean, modern, and easy to navigate.

We made sure that our message was presented clearly and correctly, and that parents can easily find what they’re looking for on the website. Our team integrated various customised components including a booking form on the home page, a section for the calendar, language translator, and a chatbot that customers can interact with whenever they visit the site.

SEO and Adwords

In order to boost Kids Cove’s visibility, it wasn’t enough that they had a great website. They should also be easy to find on digital platforms that their potential customers frequently use. This is why we set up several SEO and Ad campaigns to make sure that the business shows up in the Search Engine Results Page (SERP). We targeted specific keywords that clients typically use when they look for Kids Cove in search engines. Our team kept an eye on each campaign and periodically tweaked each one to ensure effectiveness. 

Facebook

The Zeald team also optimised the Kids Cove Facebook page for awareness building. We reviewed their existing content and set off a social media campaign that allowed us to better reach our target audience through organic and paid methods. 

Email 

In a cost per acquisition perspective, email is one of the most effective ways to market to a specific audience. When we began working with Kids Cove, the company already had its own lead database. Our team utilised this database to reach out to existing and potential customers to provide relevant updates and offers that they might benefit from.
