North Shore Dental started in 1981 as a small practice in the heart of Browns Bay and has grown to be one of the most successful dental practices in the country. The team at North Shore Dental grew with a strengthened commitment to keep and nurture personal relationships with patients while providing an excellent service to as many people as possible. This mantra echoed throughout their quest to streamline their services by providing a quality online experience.

At North Shore Dental, the staff treat their patients the way they would want to be treated. This meant easier bookings and secure patient access to more information online. While they already had a website, it wasn’t as functional as they (or their patients) would have liked. They just weren’t sure where to start. It was a convenient timing, therefore, when they were approached by Zeald with an offer for a free website audit. 

A Zeald audit looks into the existing website and digital marketing efforts in place and compares these with what other similar businesses are doing. Drawing from our many years of experience, we come up with advice as to what your next steps should be. This might include a website redesign for example, or a more direct approach to digital marketing. The first step was a website redesign. North Shore Dental already had a pretty good website, but Zeald knew it could be better. The new design would also help complement the new features, such as the online booking option. A major redesign like this helps communicate to customers that your business is committed to ongoing improvement. 

Zeald tailored a new website design that would help persuade potential patients that North Shore Dental was the right choice. A big part of this was creating quality content that would give real value to existing and prospective patients. People do their research when choosing any company to do business with, but the dental (and medical) industry in particular benefits hugely from cultivating trust early on in the customer journey. Zeald suggested the addition of a blog to the website, where informative and engaging posts could be found. Adding more content like staff profiles to the ‘About Us’ page provides a personal touch– a reflection of the practice itself.

North Shore Dental had elected a new marketing committee around the same time Zeald was brought on board. They were very interested, therefore, in finding ways to boost their visibility online. The experts at Zeald did a lot of keyword research to investigate what people were looking for in a dental practice. Tailoring digital advertising around popular search terms is a sure-fire way to improve online marketing efforts.

Zeald used this information to run a number of slightly differing online advertising campaigns, noting what worked and what didn’t. This allowed future online advertising to become more effective, giving North Shore Dental more bang for their buck.
